The best of what’s to come

Ok so Harpers Baazar have recently put out a guide of the the Best of Bridal Spring 2015. Of course we lept on it faster than a cat on a ball of string, but alas we must confess some of the designs didn’t really amaze us half as much as we had expected, but there were some that more than made up for it and we were totally and utterly swooning. So naturally we have gathered our favourites below, just for you.
And you know what this means right? If these are the best gowns for the upcoming season in Harpers Baazar, that means there will be tons of copycat versions, more affordable editions and variations you might like even more. One thing is for sure – the 50s have not left us yet, sparkle and glitter remain, glamour is big and traditional will never ever go out of style.
So let’s get the party started! Feast your eyes baby dolls…
This Alberta Ferreti gown is a lovely combination between the traditional and romantic, the cut, style and shape would suit most figures and the lovely flower detail really is a nice touch. We like!
Here she goes again, that Alberta Ferreti is pretty good. We love the lace, and the flower child look simply steals our heart every time!
Her name is not synonymous with wedding gowns for nothing. We love this cut. So chic and timeless. Carolina Herrera does it again!
Oscar de la Renta is famous for romance and demure gowns. Nail on the head with this one!
And he does flowergirls! Too cute for words Oscar!
And now to my favourite – if I were to get get married again and had an unlimited budget this would be the lady that I would look to. Jenny Packham is the goddess of gowns as far as I’m concerned!
Gatsby lives on thanks to Jenny Packham! Swoon!
If short is more your thing, then this Jenny Packham could be super cute too? I can just see Kate Middleton in this or any of the others above for that matter.
Naeem Khan, wow, this is a great example of embossed gorgeousness! What a classic gown.
We also love this Naeem Khan creation, stunning with a touch of Game of Thrones thrown in for good measure!
One more for Naeem – again a winner!
No list is complete without Monique Lhullier! Classic, elegant and very Audrey.
And last but not least, Marchesa comes out to play, pretty as a picture!
Which is your favourite??
