2012 has been pretty eventful in terms of Hollywood nuptials, so as the year wraps up we take a look back at the hottest and most talked about celebrity weddings! Just call us the wedding stalkers!

Kings of Leon rocker Jared Followill tied the knot with the beautiful Martha Patterson in Charlotte, TN, in September. The bride wore Monique Lhuillier and looked like she had stepped right out of a bridal magazine. ‘Nuff said!

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millipied held their Jewish themed wedding in August, and by all accounts it looked like quite the occasion for the parents of little Aleph.

After two children (with a 3rd on the way!) and five years together, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves walked down the aisle at their home in Austin, TX, in June. Guests slept in specially built teepees! The bride shunned normal Hollywood wedding gown designers in favour of Brazilian dress maker Ducarmo Castelo Branco, a 78-year-old family friend, who crafted Camila’s unique dress.

Jack Osbourne and Lisa Stelly tied the knot in Hawaii in October and were surrounded by family, including their precious daughter, Pearl. After Jack’s grim health diagnosis earlier this year, the wedding was even more meaningful.

Perhaps the wedding of the year – Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake surprised fans with their secret Italian nuptials in October! The bride wore a beautiful Giambattista Valli haute couture gown in pink, and the groom was dressed in Tom Ford.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Schulman got married in Big Sur CA in September. These images were captured by an overzealous paparazzo, and hence Anna made the decision to donate proceeds to charity rather than line the pocket of someone who intruded on her special day.

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman share a tender moment at their June wedding in Montecito, CA. Baby Olive has since been born!

Margherita Missoni married her race car driver fiancé Eugenio Amos in a flower-covered white silk Missoni gown created with Giambattista Valli’s advice. Later, she changed into a pale pink version of the same dress for the star-studded reception. The couple exchanged vows at the church of Santa Maria Annunciata in Brunello, Italy, in June. We just love the picnic setting!

Aussie soap actress Holly Valance married billionaire tycoon Nick Candy in a fairytale California September wedding, with an all-star guest list including Simon Cowell and Fergie, The Duchess of York. The 29 year old bride wore an extravagant white gown by J’Aton Couture, which boasted a full, meringue style skirt resembling feathers and a bodice like top. The dashing groom wore Dolce and Gabbana. This was perhaps the most lavish of all weddings with celebrations spanning days and featuring a performance by Katy Perry. The whole sha-bang was reported to have cost 3 million pounds!
